A COLLECTION OF ATTENTION

FIELD NOTES

Collecting moments of seeing. Some observations remain small. A stone found on a beach. A pattern created by sunlight. The rhythm of a façade. A colour combination discovered in nature. A structure shaped by time. These moments become visual notes, fragments of attention collected from everyday life. Some remain as drawings or watercolours. Others become the starting point for larger works, material experiments or entirely new directions.

Field Notes are not finished answers. They are observations in progress.

FRAGMENTS

  • Watercolour, 2026
  • A collection of organic forms inspired by stones, exploring colour, texture, shape and the irregular structures created by nature.

FILTERED LIGHT

  • Watercolour, 2026.
  • A fleeting composition created by light and shadow. Rather than depicting the shadows, I painted the light itself, leaving the untouched paper to represent its absence.

REMAINS

  • Mixes materials 2026
  • What is left behind and what it can become. Discarded materials are transformed into new compositions, forms and identities through an intuitive process of collecting, combining and reshaping.
